Seven stacks, one board

Changes as they happen

  1. Waiting for a change. Add, move or rename a card in any of the seven apps and see it reach the other six.

How this works

Technology DNA is like biological DNA: an arrangement of data upon which any technology system can be built, out of meaning. This demo shows that you can build on Technology DNA on any stack.

Each of the seven apps is a separate app on Technology DNA, with its own key. Each app has its own server, written in its own stack, at its own address. The interface in your browser talks only to its own app's server.

All the cards are kept in Technology DNA. Each card belongs to the app that made it. That app lets the other six apps read, change and delete the card.

Each app's server reads the board from Technology DNA once a second. So a change made in one app shows in the other six apps in about one second.

Lines of code count only the source that a person wrote for the app's interface. A script counts them after each build. Download is the compressed size of everything your browser receives for the app, with its fonts and runtime.

The list of changes shows real events. A frame lights when its app sends a change. Each frame flashes when its app has drawn the change. Each time shown is measured, not estimated.
